Jessica and Matt

Jessica and Matt's professional pictures should be coming soon, but I wanted to share a sneak preview of their fun fall flowers!  They were really bright and colorful and seemed to match Jessica's personality!  I could tell Jessica really loved flowers and hopefully we were able to get everything "just right"!  We stuck with a red, yellow, and orange theme to go with her wine colored bridesmaid's dresses.

The ceremony was held at St. John the Baptist in Savage and the Reception was at the Lakeville Holiday Inn.  The Lakeville Holiday Inn was a lovely venue with their pretty lighting and warm colors.  The people working there were fantastic and everything ran very smoothly!  Can't wait to work with them again!

Here are a few photos of some of the things we did...

Here's one of just a bunch of the bouquets and flowers together...

Here is the bridal bouquet...

all of the bouquets and bouts/corsages set out at the church -

Here is how the church looked before the ceremony - we added some mokara orchids in red, orange, and yellow to the reserved pews and we just used the mums the church had for decoration as the altar flowers.

Some reception hall photos - Memory Makers Decor did the fabulous backdrop and champagne linens for the tables and chairs.  They always do a great job!

On the guest tables, we did large cylinder vases of red, yellow, or wine with the matching colored mokara orchids.  On the reserved tables, we did a vase of all three.

The cake was a lot of fun...we added lots of colorful flowers to keep with the fall theme -

Extra little touches of bud vases and vases with floating dahlias were placed here and there for some extra color.

Small Wedding Dinner Party

Beatriz and her fiance wanted something classic and elegant for their small dinner party following their local wedding.  They were having one long rectangular table, that we made a mini-calla lily and lily grass arrangement for...then we had two arrangements on the side with hydrangea and white roses.  Also along the table, we put some bud vases and globe votive candles.

Here are a few photos we took in the shop...

Molly and Brett

What can I say about Molly and Brett?!  I've known Molly since she was in Kindergarten and have watched her grow into the beautiful, stylish woman she is today!  I only met Brett shortly before the wedding, but I was so impressed with how instantly warm and gracious he was, and I could tell they make a perfect couple!    I was so happy to share in their day! Molly wanted something elegant and different, so we incorporated peacock feathers into the look and the ivory, teal, and black became the principal colors of the wedding.  It was a fun challenge to incorporate the peacock feathers without having them completely take over the look.  We also added black lace to the bouquet handles and some of the votives, etc, to give it kind of a vintage-y, yet modern and romantic feel.  I really, really enjoyed working with Molly, Brett, and her mom and sister!

The fabulous Kate Botwinski from www.katebotwinski.com (and her blog - which is INCREDIBLE! www.katebotwinskiblog.com) sent me some beautiful photos of the flowers from the wedding day.  Please also take the time to check out her blog to see more photos from the wedding:   http://katebotwinskiblog.com/weddings/the-wilds-minnesota-wedding-molly-brett/  All of the photos below were taken by Kate and Sam Botwinski...

The Ceremony was at St. John The Baptist, in Savage, MN.  We had two large hydrangea arrangements with some teal and black lace accents and then on the pews, we put some ivory mini-callas with some teal ribbon, peacock feathers, and black lace ribbon.

Here are some photos of the bride's bouquet - we used ivory mini-gerbs with black centers, some white freesia, some  ivory mini-callas, some white button poms, some white hydrangea, ivory Vendela roses, white wax flower, white lisianthus, and a few peacock feathers.  Then for the bride's bouquet, we also used teal/jade ribbon with some black lace over the top.

The Bridesmaid's Bouquets -

They were a smaller version of the brides, with no peacock feathers and they had ivory ribbon and black lace around the stems of the bouquet.

Molly also got her bridesmaids some hairpieces that were PERFECT!

Boutonnieres - The groom had an ivory mini-calla with some teal ribbon and peacock feathers.  The groomsmen had three white button poms with black pins for the centers and some ivory ribbon and black wire around the stems.

Reception Flowers - we had two different arrangements - one was just a floating white fuji mum in a  vase with some jade ribbon, black lace ribbon, and some square votives on a mirror.  The other arrangement had the three cylinder vases with white dendrobium orchids submerged in them, and we added floating candles to those.  We also added some bud vases with peacock feathers and white flowers.  The reception was held at the beautiful Wilds Golf Club in Prior Lake, MN.

Thanks again to Molly and Brett for letting me share in their beautiful day!

Pro Pics - Liv and Kyle

I recently got some fun professional photos from Liv and Kyle from their wedding.  The photos turned out really beautiful.  All of the photos in this post are from Crystal Bright Photography.  Check out her website to see some of her other awesome work!  http://cbrightphoto.com

Liv loved cymbidium orchids and wanted a more "natural" feel to the wedding....she had soft greens and browns throughout her ceremony and flowers.  I love the wooded area where they took some of the photos...

Here are some photos of the bridesmaids, a boutonniere, and just some pretty orchid photos...
