Corporate Retirement Party

We recently did a corporate retirement party at the Saint Paul Hotel, which was a lot of fun!  We did several different arrangements, all in square vases and red.  We used black and white accents with ribbon, etc.  Here are some pics we took.

Saint Paul Hotel Wedding - Professional Pics

Here are some of the gorgeous professional photos of Rachel and Fred's wedding from this past December...all ivories and golds...beautiful!

Photos were taken by Gina Zeidler at http://ginazeidler.com/blog.

Rachel wanted all soft ivories for the flowers.  We did mixes of hydrangea, stock, sweet peas, mini-callas, freesia, mums, fringed white tulips, and glads.  The glads were the main flowers and a theme throughout the wedding because of a special meaning to the bride.

Here are some of the centerpieces - we used the brides gold vases, votives, etc, and kept the ivory theme going with our flowers. Gold chargers and chairs, as well as gold and ivory patterned linens added so much to the room.

What a gorgeous venue!  Very classy and elegant.  For the centerpieces, we did three different styles - some were all glads, some were a mix of white delphinium and larkspur, and some were just larkspur.

Warehouse Winery Wedding

I got the chance to help out with a small fun wedding in St. Louis Park this past February.  It was at a place called The Warehouse Winery.  It was a fun eclectic little winery that had a lot of character.  Here are some of our photos.  She wanted raspberry tones in the flowers, so we went with a pink, lavender, and raspberry bouquet.  We added little touches of flowers throughout the venue...

The bouquet was a mix of roses, spray roses, ranunculus, wax flower and ruscus.

For their guest book, they had wine bottles with large labels on them for the guests to sign.  We added some floating candles and flowers to the table.

Throughout the rest of the venue, we just added petals, votives, and other little bud vases with flowers.

Pastel Spring Wedding

Last weekend I was lucky enough to work with Kiersten and Corey on their romantic garden-y pastel spring wedding.  Unfortunately, the weather wasn't too spring-like, but it didn't put a damper on a beautiful wedding day.  They got married at the new chapel at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Lakeville - a very modern, beautiful church.  Below are a few photos of the chapel.  Their reception was held at Royal Cliff in Eagan.  I have worked there several times and they are always so warm and hospitable there.  It's really a great group of people to work with and they have incredible food!

Here are some photos we took with our bad camera skills...gives you an idea until the professional photos come in.  :)

Here is the bridal bouquet  - a mix of white peonies, white "Patience" garden roses, my favorite peach "Juliet" garden roses, hydrangea, lisianthus, stock, seeded eucalyptus, and dusty miller.

And here are the bridesmaid's bouquets - a mix of different shades of peach and white - some peach osiana roses, cumbia roses, versilia roses, as well as some ilse spray roses in a coral color, white hydrangea, white wax flower, and dusty miller.

The ceremony was at the Hosanna Chapel in Lakeville.  Just opened up this month and I think this might have even been the first wedding in it.  It is a beautiful modern looking chapel with a lit up cross and stained glass windows with gray and beige tones.  Then there is a really gorgeous stone fountain over on the side.  Here are a few pics.  We kept it really simple with just some pillar candles in cylinder vases on a bed of clear, white, and peach colored stones, with large white polar star roses.  Very minimal, but just a little touch of their decor.  Can't wait to see the professional photos of the chapel!

For the reception, the bride had a terra cotta, peach, and mint green theme.  She had terra cotta chargers for the base of the centerpiece, then a mint green lantern sitting on top of that.  We added greens of tree fern, sea star fern, a touch of variegated pittosporum leaves, maidenhair fern and mini carnations in peach and white around the base.  We also added mercury glass and clear votives around the base.

We added some flowers to the cake as well - which was made by the bride's mom!

This shows the draping and lighting done in the room - I love draping!  I think it adds so much to the reception venues.  Illuminations did a great job with this draping.

For the outer area, we always like to add a few touches.  For Kiersten's guestbook table, she had an awesome idea of a wishing tree.  She had people write little notes and sign them and add them to the wishing tree.  Loved the idea!  We added some floating candles and flowers, as well as an extra lantern to the table.

For the placecard table, we added some more floating candles and touches of flowers.  There were also some other tables and areas that we added some lanterns and flowers to.

I loved the soft romantic feel of the flowers and who doesn't love pastels for spring weddings?!  Thanks to Kiersten and Corey for letting me part of the fun!  Also a big thanks to the bride's mom, who was so helpful and great to work with!
