Small white and silver wedding

We did the personal flowers and ceremony flowers for a small, elegant white and silver wedding.  I don't have pics of the ceremony flowers yet, but here are just a few samples of the personal flowers.

For the bridal bouquet we used hydrangea, white peonies, O'Hara white garden roses, polar star white roses, vendela ivory roses, white snowflake spray roses, white sweet peas.  The bridesmaids had hydrangea with vendelas, polar stars, sweet peas, and snowflake and vivianne spray roses.  We added some crystals to the junior bridesmaids' bouquets.

The bouts were white roses or spray roses with dusty miller leaves and silver seeded eucalyptus.

The women's corsages were a little more blingy with some bright silver seeded eucalyptus, silver ribbon, and silver rhinestone sprays on a rhinestone wristlet.

Can't wait to get the professional photos and show you the ceremony flowers as well.

Sokol Hall Wedding

We had a really fun wedding we did a couple of weeks ago at the CSPS Sokol Hall in St. Paul.  It is an old historical hall that has tons of character!  As you'll see in some of the photos, there was a large stage with paintings of Czechoslovakian settings in the background.  The head table was up on the stage and we tried to add a garden-y feel with lots of garlands of greens and white flowers scattered throughout.  Very natural and beautiful!  It was so much fun planning and setting up this one!  Anna was a joy to work with!

The bridal bouquet was natural and textured with pretty white dahlias and scabiosa, hydrangea, sweet peas, queen anne's lace, and viburnum.  The wrap was ivory satin covered in ivory lace with pins going down the back.  We used river rock in the vases to make it more of a natural feel.

The stage was set with the head table and we used lanterns, garlands of ruscus and sprengeri with hydrangea, dahlias, waxflower, and roses scattered throughout, and silver mercury glass votives.  The other decor was twinkle lights throughout.

For the long banquet tables, we had garlands of the ruscus and sprengeri mixed with white flowers and lanterns.  Then we added a few tall arrangements and silver candles, as well as some river rock along the tables.

Here is a pic of the tall arrangements...hydrangea, curly willow, snapdragons and larkspur in pilsner vases with river rock.

Here is a look at most of the room.

Another great feature about the room were window ledges where we put the bride's family photos, some lanterns, candles and bottles with some flowers.

Also, as you entered the hall, there was a long staircase.  We added garlands with some wax flower along the railings.

Here are just a few more shots of closeups of some of the flowers we used.

Profile Event Center Wedding

I had an awesome time working on Kelly and Brett's blue and green wedding!  The wedding was held at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina and the reception was held at the Profile Event Center in Minneapolis.  They kept true to their personalities with little hockey touches here and there.  Instead of a guestbook, they had hockey jerseys with their names and the wedding date on them, for people to sign.  They also had hockey team pennants for their table numbers. My thanks to Kelly and Brett for allowing me to do their wedding flowers - it was such a pleasure!

Here are a few of my own photos to give you an idea of some of the things we did.  Will share the professional photos when I get them.

Bridal Bouquet of white mini-callas, blue hydrangea, blue delphinium, green lisianthus, white polar star roses, and minimal mini-green hydrangea.

For the bridesmaids, we did the lighter blue delphinium, mini-green hydrangea, white standard mums, white hydrangea, and white polar star and akito roses.

For the flower girls, we had little mini-carnations sprayed blue for their kissing balls.

For the church, we did an entrance arrangement with delphinium, larkspur, green spider mums, snapdragons, and tree fern.

We did really simple arrangements for the church...just a remembrance arrangement with white polar star roses, white larkspur, buplerum, and tree fern.

And then for each side of the altar, we did some green glads, white glads, light and dark blue delphinium, larkspur, and some curly willow in some cylinder vases.

Here is one with the bride and her father and another with all of the bridal party up at the altar

I don't have many photos of the reception flowers, but here is one of the designs.  It was a pedestal vase design with a mix of different hydrangeas, roses, spider mums and standard mums, along with some glob candles.  You can see the pennant table number as well.
