Pro Pics - Wedding at the Wilds

Here are some professional photos of a wedding I was lucky enough to be a part of last summer!  The photos were taken by David Knight.  I loved having the chance of working with Megan on her lovely wedding!  I am attaching a few of the professional photos she sent me.

Here are a couple of photos of the bridal and bridesmaid's bouquets - the bride's was a bit more subtle in coloring and looked soft and romantic.  The maids had brighter pastel colors.

Here are the Junior Bridesmaid, Ring Bearer, and Flower Girls.  The Junior Bridesmaid had a smaller version of the bridesmaids' bouquets and the Flower Girls had little yellow kissing balls made of mini-carnations.

The groom and groomsmen had spray roses, silver brunia, lisianthus buds, and tree fern.  We used twine wrap on the bouquets and the bouts.

The church was Pax Christi in Eden Prairie. We did minimal decor there, but had two remembrance bouquets - one in the pastels used on the bouquets and the other was bright orange lilies in remembrance of the groom's brother.

Here are some photos of the reception decor - it was held at The Wilds in Savage, MN.  It's a beautiful venue that I've worked with several times before.  The staff is great to work with!

Here are a couple of shots of the head table.  We used the bouquets and silver mercury glass votives to keep with the soft romantic feel.

On each of the guest tables, we had three wine bottles (all different kinds).  We used different types of flowers in yellow and white throughout the venue.  They were on mirror tiles with votive candles.  On this table, we used tulips, stock, and waxflower.

Here's the lovely bride, Megan, with her bouquet - she was so sweet and fun to work with!

Mill City Museum Wedding - Pro Pics

I'm so excited to share the professional photos of Shanna and Colby's gorgeous wedding!  They were taken by the wonderful Kate and Sam Botwinski of Kate Botwinski Photography (www.katebotwinskiphotography.com).  I was so honored to share in such a beautiful day!

First up are some beautiful photos of Shanna's wedding bouquet.  We had lots of beautiful flowers in there-  succulents, peach Juliet garden roses, peach and pink spray roses, white hydrangea, mums, pieris bud, lisianthus, dusty miller, and three white mini-callas in memory of loved ones.  We added lace and a crystal brooch to the handle.

Next up are the bridesmaid's bouquets - a bit smaller than the bridal bouquet without the succulents.  Also a bit less peach, more whites.  These were made up of peach juliet garden roses, white hydrangea, mums, lisianthus, spray roses, waxflower, dusty miller, and oregonia.

The bouts were made up of spray roses, silver brunia, dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus, and succulents.  The groom, Colby, had a peach rose and the other guys wore white ones with the succulents.

For the ceremony flowers, we did two large arrangements of curly willow, peach and white glads, delphinium, larkspur, stock, and hydrangea.

We used three different types of centerpieces at the reception.  Tall, medium, and short.  Here are some pics of the tall centerpiece.  This is made up of white hydrangea, peach stock, lisianthus, spray roses in pink and peach, and some greens.

The medium sized arrangement was a pedestal vase with hydrangea, stock, garden roses, roses, spray roses, astilbe, jasmine vine, and pieris bud.

The small arrangement was a silver mercury glass vase with white and peach snapdragons.

The head table was decorated with the bouquets, silver mercury glass votives, and succulents.

Here's a pic of the cake - we just added a few peach spray roses and then some succulents and silver votives around the base.

and here are some of my favorites of the bride and groom and the wedding party...

Thanks so much for letting me share your day!  :)

Minneapolis Golf Club Wedding

I was lucky enough to get to work with Paige and her mom, Katie, on her beautiful wedding recently! Her colors were cabernet and chartreuse.  The ceremony was held at Epiphany Church and the reception was held at the Minneapolis Golf Club.  Here's just a little sneak peek of what we did for her flowers.  Can't wait for the professional photos!

For her bouquet, we used hydrangea, dahlias, freesia, roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, spray roses, green hypericum berries, etc.

For her bridesmaid's bouquests, we used green hydrangea (dark and light green), burgundy dahlias, alstromeria, lisianthus, spray roses, hypericum berries and seeded eucalyptus.

Here is the toss bouquet and the bridal bouquet

At the reception, we did monochromatic tables alternating in greens, reds, and whites - all in silver vases that the bride and her mom made! (I was impressed!)

The reds were burgundy snapdragons, a cluster of burgundy carnations, and a burgundy dahlia.  We added some diamond gems to the table that looked pretty with the candlelight from the globe votives.

The greens were Bells of Ireland, green Hydrangea, and green Spider Mums

The whites were Larkspur, white Hydrangea, and white Spider Mums.

The head table was a harvest style table.  We used the crystal votives and the brides tall mercury glass candle holders and then the bouquets were added later on.

Extra touches throughout the venue - here is the toss bouquet and some crystal votives, as well as some floating candles and extra flowers by the guestbook.

The cocktail table area was just little vases with spider mums and dahlias and silver mercury glass votives.  We added votives to the fireplace mantle as well.

Here is a look at the room. Very pretty room with lots of windows along the one side.

Much love and thanks Paige!  It was wonderful working with you!!
