Guthrie Theater Wedding

I had so much fun working with Shauna on her flowers last month...I hadn't worked at the Guthrie before for a wedding and it was such a great venue!  The reception was very minimal and modern with mostly crystals, candles, and some white hydrangea.  The only pop of color was at the head table with the bouquets.  Shauna fell in love with the beautiful peachy-orangey-pink free spirit roses (and who could blame her!?), so we focused on those and white garden roses in her bouquet and just white hydrangea with bits of pink and peach spray roses in the maids' bouquets.  Gorgeous wedding and gorgeous photos by Adam Kennedy.  For lots of pics from the wedding, check out his blog site for their wedding:  http://adamkennedyphotography.com/blog/2013/07/22/shauna-matt-minneapolis-wedding/

Here are some pics of the details that we took (as you will be able to tell immediately!) Please, please check out the link above for all the beauty of the wedding...these are just some of the small details (and as I've said before, I take terrible photos!).

This is the bridal bouquet - made up of Free Spirit Roses, white Hydrangea, and white Garden Roses.

The bridesmaids' bouquets are made up of white hydrangea, peach versilia roses, coral ilse spray roses, and coral mini-carnations.

Shauna kept a very modern theme of white and navy, except for the color at the head table with the bouquets and in the miscellaneous tables - the hightop cocktail tables, the placecard table, etc.

The Guthrie theater was an incredible venue - the room was basically a black room, where they had stars and moon superimposed on the wall, and they had these really beautiful chandeliers hanging, which you can see in this photo.  Super modern and cool.

For the reception guest tables, we had three different designs.  Candlelight was the most important thing to Shauna, so we added lots to the room.  The first table design was a tall pilsner vase with just crystals and a floating candle, three shorter vases with navy ribbon and bling wrap, as well as votives with bling.

The second design was a stemmed pedestal vase filled with silver moss and hydrangea, with a little bit of ribbon and bling around the base and some diamond crystals in the hydrangea.  Lots of votives with bling around the base.

The third table design was a set of three cylinder vases with navy ribbon, bling wrap, floating candles, and votive candles.  The tall one had some peach dendrobium orchids, the middle had crystal garland, and the third was just a floating candle and stones.

The head table was set with crystals and crystal votives, and then later in the evening, the girls added their bouquets to the head table.

Cocktail tables had a floating free spirit rose and some votives

For the placecard table, we added floating candles and hydrangea and spray roses

My thanks to Shauna and Matt for letting me help out with their wedding day!  It was a beautiful wedding!
