Emily wanted white as a base for her flowers and then pops of reds, yellows, and oranges. We did a mix of several different flowers in both her bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets. We wrapped them in burlap, lace, and twine and then the bridal bouquet had her something blue - a rosary that belonged to her grandmother - attached to her bridal bouquet. Unfortunately I don't have great photos of any of these, but I'll share what I have. More to come!
For the reception area, the bride made burlap table runners and rustic looking table numbers, and we added mixes of wooden boxes, different jars, bottles, vases, votives, floating candles, etc,. The bride and some of her bridesmaids and mom came to my shop and we worked together to add some lace and burlap and raffia to some of the different bottles and vases. The idea was just to get a little bit different look on each table. We just did a mix of colors and flower types throughout the venue. The bride also made some awesome cloth napkins in varying patterns to add a touch of color and uniqueness to each table.
Most of the tables were in a renovated chicken coop with twinkle lights hanging above, but that room opened up onto a nice covered deck where the sweetheart table and family tables were located. On each of these tables, we had large jars with stones for the bridesmaids' and bridal bouquets.
Here are just some more shots of the area...and some of the other details the bride made. She even had outdoor lawn games for the guests, as well as some cute kids tables outside with games for them as well.
What a beautiful place for a wedding weekend! Can't wait for the professional photos :)
One of the first things you think of when planning a vacation is the place to stay. And the first thing that comes to mind is the hotel. There are a few criteria you require in choosing the hotel. These are: the location, the accessibility, the facilities, the service, and the room accommodations, just to name a few.
