During set-up at the reception hall, I worked a little bit with Sarah Trotter from Lasting Impressions. She was SO helpful and friendly! The cake wasn't in by the time I left, so she took care of the cake flowers, as well as helped pin on all the boutonnieres, etc. She was doing a great job with the decor as well. I'm sure she was a lifesaver for Suzi and Eric!
Stonebrooke is a beautiful venue - vaulted ceilings, tons of windows, and a pretty little waterfall area to be married in front of. The lady at Stonebrooke - Deb Rynda, couldn't have been nicer - helping us with water runs and offering sodas and refreshments...and the wait staff at the end of the evening helped with cleanup. Everyone was really great!
I have a few pics that I took - which, of course, aren't very good! But it'll give you an idea til I get the professional photos:
Here's the bridal bouquet - we used hot pink Ravel roses, some green Hypericum berries, beautiful big Starfighter lilies, a little bit of white lisianthus, and some pink waxflower. We wrapped it with some sheer apple green ribbon and swirled around some hot pink beaded wire.
Here's a look at the head table. Since there were only two bridesmaids, I added a couple of bud vases to the head table with hot pink and white roses. The bridesmaids' bouquets were smaller versions of the bridal bouquet with the addition of more white (roses and lisianthus). We wrapped those in hot pink ribbon and used apple green beaded wire around them. To add more hot pink, we had hot pink votives in addition to the clear votives. A sprinkling of white and hot pink petals were added as well.
With the tall ceilings, Suzi wanted some standout floral designs, so we made tall centerpieces for all the tables, using two different designs. The first design is this one - green apples in a cylinder vase with hot pink ribbon, and a design of white dendrobium orchids, starfighter lilies, white lisianthus, white Polar Star roses, hot pink Ravel roses, pink wax flower, white and hot pink mini-carnations, and bright green hypericum berries. We added some hot pink and clear votives, a mirror and a few petals to the table. The table runners were made by Suzi's mom, and Suzi had little cowboy boot table number holders with a card that had a meaningful number to them and a description of the meaning.
The other design was a tall vase with beautiful hot pink mokara orchids and a floating candle. We put a few of the orchid heads around the base and had a combination of stemmed votive holders and hot pink votives. Below is a photo that shows a bit of the whole room.
More photos to follow when the professional ones get sent out. Just wanted to write down a few of the vendors that I enjoyed working with...
