Stacy and Mark

Be prepared for a LONG post!  Feel free to get comfy, relax, and enjoy reading about the incredible experience of Stacy and Mark's wedding! I know that I start all my posts describing how much fun I had working on the wedding, etc, but it really is true!  I honestly can't tell you how much fun I'm having working with each and every bride and groom, and I really feel privileged that they've let me be a part of it!  They've all been major troopers being some of my first clients!

Stacy and Mark got married on a steamy hot day in July!  They got married in St. Cloud at the Blackberry Ridge Golf Club.  It's a beautiful golf course and building!  The ceremony was out on the golf course in front of a pretty white arch that we framed with yellow and white kissing balls.  After the ceremony, they had the reception in the upper level of the golf club.  Stacy had an awesome color scheme of bright yellow and dark gray (kind of a pewter color).  The yellow showed up perfectly against the gray.  We used bright and sunny flowers throughout.  Stacy was an awesome do-it-yourself bride!  She made beautiful invitations, pretty vases for the head table, fun little party favors of golf balls and tees, a big magnetic board with placecards, etc, etc, etc.  She had every last little detail down perfectly!  The draping and twinkle lights were beautifully done by Corinne at Memory Makers Decor.  They do such a beautiful job!  The photography was done by the wonderful Emily Ebeling out of Wisconsin.  We ate dinner at the table with her and her husband, and had a great time talking with them.   Even the AC not working on a 90+ humid day, didn't keep the crowd from having a great time!  This time I have some of the professional photos, so you don't have to deal with me botching up the photos!

The bouquet on top and then in the second photo on the left, is the bridal bouquet.  We added a little extra white to this one and made it a little bigger than the bridesmaids' bouquets.  It had yellow and white mini-gerbera daisies, yellow and white poms, yellow "Sonrisa" roses, white "Akito" roses, white "Monte Casino" aster, then for the base, we used some gray fabric from the dresses and then used a little yellow satin ribbon as well, to set it apart from the bridesmaids' dresses.

The bridesmaids' bouquets were a mix of all the yellow flowers in the bridal bouquet, with a little of the aster mixed in.  The base was gray fabric from their dresses and silver pins in a diamond pattern.

Here's a pic from the ceremony with all the bridesmaids.

Here is the adorable flower girl holding her kissing ball.  We made this out of white and yellow poms with pearl headed pins as an accent.  She was seriously adorable in her white and gray dress and updo!

Here is the handsome groom, Mark, getting his boutonniere put on.  It's a white mini-calla with a yellow spray rose and some white and yellow "Monte Casino" asters and yellow ribbon to accent the bride's bouquet.

Here are a couple of photos of the ceremony area.  At the entrance of the aisle, on each side, we had white and yellow kissing balls and tulle lining a shepherd's hook.  You can see the white and yellow kissing balls on the arch and then at the base of the arch, there were planters that we put some yellow and white daisies in, which were the memorial/remembrance flowers.

Here's a beautiful photo of the venue.  You can see the beautiful draping  and gray chair sashes by Memory Makers Decor.  Behind the head  table, there was a fireplace we put some candles and the toss bouquet on.  There were some round tables in front of the head table for family members.  These had tall vases with white dendrobiums and a few votives and yellow petals.

Also, the cake was a really pretty design with silver ribbon and swirls.  I just added minimal flowers (gerbs, poms, and aster) to bring out some of the yellow and white.  Some yellow petals and votives were placed around the base.

Just another view of the head table and cake table.

Here is a photo that we took of one of the long tables.  We used bright yellow oncidium orchids in the center vase with a floating candle and then on the two smaller side vases, we had yellow kangaroo paws and some square votives.

A really cute part of their story is their dog, Kirby.  Kirby was involved in the proposal and he walked down the aisle as the ring bearer, with the flower girl. He had his own little tux and yellow tie.  Too cute!  The last pic is the happy family!

Stacy loves weddings as much as I do and she's so great with all the details!  She'd make an awesome wedding planner!  It was a blast being part of the wedding!
