Lauren and Matt had a spectacular, glamorous, kind of Hollywood feel to their wedding. The Crowne Plaza on the riverfront in St. Paul is a beautiful place with a round area surrounded by windows where the ceremony takes place, and then the room opens into a wide open expansive room with a big dance floor. It's huge! They also have a great area outside the ballroom for the cocktail area. The people there were wonderful to work with as well...couldn't have asked for a better experience (other than the silver spray paint! ;)
Here are a few photos of some of the flowers...
Here are a couple of the bridal bouquet - she had picasso mini-callas, purple stock, white hydrangea, moonvista carnations, silver brunia, etc. No greens were used. You can see a touch of the wrap - we had purple wraps with bling around the top and the bottom and then crystal pins.
The bridesmaids carried all white bouquets made up of white hydrangea, roses, white standard mums, silver brunia and dusty miller.
I don't have photos of the ceremony, but after the ceremony, we placed them on the sides of the head table. Here is a pic or two of them. At the front of the aisle, we had tables with three tall cylinder vases with purple orchids and floating candles. The other arrangements were six foot tall spraypainted silver curly willow and dogwood in large cylinder vases with black ribbon and bling. Lots of purple dendrobium orchids throughout.
Her guest tables beautiful with black tablecloths, black chair covers with eggplant/purple colored sashes, and then a damask runner. For the first style of centerpiece, we went simple with three vases with floating crystals and some ribbon and bling. Added a touch of the orchids for a teensy bit of color. We used silver mercury glass votives, as well as some regular votives with a little bling wrapped around the base.
For the second style of centerpiece, we spraypainted some rust colored boxes silver and added some ribbon and bling to them and filled them with the moonvista carnations and a few crystals. Again, we used the mercury glass and regular bling votives.
For the third type of centerpiece, we did a large cylinder vase with 3 ft tall curly willow and dogwood spraypainted silver with the purple orchids to be similar to the ceremony flowers. We added hanging crystals, hanging votives, etc, to the branches. We had the same votives, as well as some stemmed ones to add some extra candle light.
And here is one that kind of shows more of the room.
The day really turned out super beautiful! Thanks so much Lauren and Matt!!
