Crowne Plaza Wedding - some pro pics

Lauren and Matt's wedding and reception at the Crowne Plaza was a fun mix of lots of purples, silvers, and whites.  I have a lot of photos in a previous post, but here is a little sampling of the professional photos taken by Cami at Hazel Brown and Blue Photography.  You can check out her beautiful work at www.hazelbrownandblue.blogspot.com.

Here is Lauren's bouquet of picasso mini-callas, white roses and hydrangea, purple stock and moonvista dark purple carnations, along with some silver brunia and dusty miller.

Lauren is a "bling" girl, so we added some fun crystal wrap to the bouquets.

The bridesmaids carried all white and silver bouquets with football mums, hydrangea, roses, silver brunia, stock, and dusty miller

The Jr. Bridesmaid carried a smaller version of the bridesmaids' bouquets.

Cute pic of the groom and groomsmen with the bouquets - you can see their bouts of white spray roses and dusty miller, silver brunia

The adorable flower girl and ring bearer - so cute!  She is carrying a little kissing ball of dark purple mini-carnations with a little bling added in there.  LOVE her little sparkly shoes!

In the ceremony we had some large arrangements you can see in my previous post of their wedding, but at the entry to the aisle, we had some purple dendrobium orchids and floating candles as well.

Bayview Event Center - Pro Pics

Here are a few of the professional photos from a lovely cobalt blue and white wedding we did last year...loved working with the cobalt blue!  The photos were done by Kara Knutson of ME Photos.

The bride wanted simple and elegant and only the cobalt and white - with a touch of the green from some of the flowers, but nothing else.  The bouquets were all white except for the bridal, which had the blue delphinium and blue ribbon.  They all had white stock, football mums, freesia, lisianthus, and veronica

Here is the remembrance arrangement...just delphinium, waxflower, larkspur, and some ruscus and salal.

We did very simple arrangements at the reception, but the blue really made them "pop".  The reception was held at the beautiful Bayview Event Center.  Gorgeous venue!!

White dendrobium orchids and lily grass in blue wine bottles were one of the centerpieces.

Cobalt blue vases with stock and ruscus were another centerpiece.

Submerged blue delphinium with floating candles and ribbon were the third type of centerpiece.

The head table was decorated with the bouquets and some cobalt wine goblets I had filled with water and floating candles.

We repurposed the ceremony altar arrangements on each end of the head table.  These were a mix of gladiolas, curly willow, white and blue delphinium and some white larkspur.

On the cocktail tables, just simple fuji mums and lily grass in square vases with votive candles.

Just a few more pretty photos...

Thanks to Kara for the beautiful pics!  and to my wonderful bride Channa!  It was a blessing to work with you!

Red, Black and White Winter Wedding

I was lucky enough to be able to work with Paul and Alyssa on their beautiful red, white, and black wedding.  We chose to go with a white bouquet for the bride and red for the girls.  Here are a few of my photos and the professional photos.

The first couple are the beautiful professional photos...

The bridal bouquet was made up of mini-callas, hydrangea, Polar Star and Akito white roses, spray roses, stock, green hypericum berries, and boxwood.

Here you can see the wrap of ivory with ivory pins.

Here are all the girls carrying their red bouquets with ivory and black wraps.  I love the contrast of the red and black and white.  I also love that they are all in different styles of black dresses - awesome!

At the reception, the bride and groom had made candles out of wine bottles and we just added the silver votives and petals.

Here are a few of my pics, just to show a few of the other details:

We used 3 different types of red roses - Hearts, Sexy, and Freedom, as well as red Alstromeria to give the reds a little more depth.  Then we used red and green hypericum and boxwood.

For the bouts, we used white mini-callas and red spray roses, as well as the berries, some seeded eucalyptus, and boxwood.

For the remembrance arrangement, we used white polar star roses, some white stock, some larkspur and delphinium, and some ruscus in a deep red vase with white sheer ribbon.

Legends Golf Club Wedding - Pro Pics

This wedding was one of my favorites last year - it was all black, white, and a just a hint of light blue. The ceremony was held at the beautiful Shepherd of the Lake Church in Prior Lake and the Reception was at the Legends Golf Club in Prior Lake. We did all ivory flowers except for some light blue delphinium used at the reception in some of the centerpieces. The photography was done by deBruyn Photography. You can check out their work on their website - http://debruynphotography.com/

Here is a photo of the bridal bouquet - a mix of white peonies and white garden roses.  Loved how soft and feathery it looked.

Here are a couple of pics of the wedding party.  The girls bouquets were made up of standard mums, spray roses and roses.

The church was the beautiful Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church in Prior Lake.  We did some baby's breath arrangements up by the altar in some black shiny pottery vases, as well as some white stock with light blue ribbon on the chairs lining the aisle.

The reception was held at the Legends Golf Club in Lakeville.  It was a really warm, inviting room with lots of dark, rich colors.  I think the whites and light blue of the flowers really added to the space.

The tall arrangements were made up of spray painted black curly willow, light blue and white delphinium in pilsner vases with black ribbon and light blue stones.

Another centerpiece was three cylinder vases with white dendrobium orchids and light blue ribbon.  The bride had black tablecloths with damask runners.

The third type of centerpiece was a small arrangement of mums and stock with light blue stone.

And we added lots of candlelight throughout the room with votives and floating candles.  At the guestbook table, we added petals and floating candles with bling ribbon to a shell platter that the bride had.  There were lots of fun details like this throughout the venue.
